  Fantastic! Our stay was everything we expected and more. Room was beautiful and spacious with an amazing view. Loved the indoor pool! Photos from the website are spot on. Louise and Anthony are lovely and our unexpected highlight was hanging with the kids :). Only mistake we made was not staying longer.

  We had a fantastic time here for our 1st anniversary. It's close to town, but very secluded and with amazing views. The villas were lovely. So many highlights - the pool, the secluded balcony bath, and the giant swing! Anthony and Louise were helpful and friendly.

  Accommodation was perfectly appointed, with breathtaking views. If you’re looking for a place to unwind and relax in a stunning location, Mt Hay is an ideal spot. Louise and Anthony are both lovely, and clearly take great care in running their retreat. We hope to be back very soon!

  We stayed at Mount Hay Retreat for a couple of nights mid week and had a wonderful stay. The suites all have big balconies with amazing views from the hills across Berry to the coast each with an outdoor bath. Inside there is everything you need with a large space containing the bedroom, living area and small kitchen area. It is stylishly done but also very comfortable. The beds and pillows are particularly comfortable. The bathroom looks out onto a "secret" garden which brings the outdoor in while keeping the elements out. The B&B is only 10 minutes from Berry (taxi available if you don't want to drive to dinner), but is tucked up in the hills so it feels as though you are very much in the country. There are fish to feed, hens to see and a walk around beautiful gardens. We enjoyed our visit and would definitely stay again. Just to note that Mount Hay retreat does not take children.
